Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning dry and wet messes in one session and without the need to switch between devices. They also can save space compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that can automatically empty their bin and fill up their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads with an appropriate dock.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It's one of the easiest robots to set up that we've ever tested. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual can get you up and running in no time with the complete dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops spin at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, as well as a selection of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.
You could, for instance request the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly, but leave the spare bedroom alone. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models can't. The only issue it has is that it tends to smash into walls and other objects at full speed - but an instant glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing as well as where it's heading, and which obstacles it's avoided.
A handy LCD screen on the docking station tells the maintenance tasks that need to be done, such as emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It also mixes detergent into the tank automatically with a 600ml of eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time, with the mop able to operate for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode, while the vacuum is can last for 136 minutes in normal mode before needing to recharge or return to the base to replenish. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to view all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the most recent version of the company's top robot vacuum and mop. It's not like the model from last year this one has an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction capacity which allows it to pick up finer hairs and other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.
Like the two other Roborock models I've tried the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology which help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by adding a dual camera which can detect objects and decide whether they're an object that is a wall or a different surface. It is able to change its direction automatically and clean the objects, without missing a step.
It's the most expensive model I've tried, but it also has the most features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop button, which doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to take the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml of water tank. The water tank self-empties and the bin is auto-filling.
The only issue I encountered in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if necessary) but it's a challenge to remove the mount itself to wash manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mount, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a variety of smart features, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. You can set up and manage these via the Roborock app that is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings, track battery life and component maintenance. You'll have to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering the performance otherwise.

It can also get under furniture that is low-profile, making it an excellent option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush also automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by the frequent back-and-forth movement.
Contrary to other robots which only focus on one task, the X40 is capable of performing both vacuuming and mopping simultaneously or separately. 4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive available however, it comes with many extra features that distinguish it from. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub that utilizes two mops that are high-speed to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it comes with a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and soiled spots.
The mop is cleaned and dried at the base station every time they are used. This is beneficial because it prevents mould and unpleasant odours that can build up in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. best automatic vacuum cleaner 's a system that we haven't yet seen on other robot vacuum and mop models, and it could be a great way of keeping your home cleaner for longer.
There are a lot of options, including the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. These settings can be adjusted via the app or there are direct buttons on the unit itself. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots on this listing, but it's still not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed.
